Art and utopia in the land of Soviets....

You can support the ideas of the October Revolution of 1917 in Russia or not. You can hate the bolsheviks and what they did with Russia. But I am sure you cannot stand indifferent to the Revolutionary art. Soviet art at that time became iconic for political upheaval and artistic innovation. The creation of a “new Soviet person”, a better type of human, was the main subjects for many extraordinarily talented artists who experienced, made, and captured the revolution.
